This shows the (long-form) format of the GCN cell/pager messages sent to those groups requesting the cell/pager method. The format is a terse version of the "TOKEN: value(s)" form developed for the full e-mail distribution method. The RA,Dec values are Current epoch. The time (UT) of the BATSE trigger or GRB is listed along with the intensity or fluence and then a comment about the trigger-type identification. The MAXBC notices have essentially the same format (the TITLE is different). There is no trigger_id type capability for the MAXBC notices at this time. These fields have their foundation in the e-mail format, so for a very detailed explanation of the contents, format, and meaning of the various fields in these cell/pager notices, please see the E-Mail Method section in the technical section.
There are no "Subject" lines for these emails to the cell/pager companies because the Subject line would use up valuable character counts from the maximum displayable for the body of the message.
There is also a short-form cell/pager method for people and sites with a cell/pager company with a very limited displayable character count.
