//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 33024 SUBJECT: GRB 221206C: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 22/12/06 14:14:48 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 14:04:24 UT on 6 Dec 2022, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 221206C (trigger 692028269.2123 / 221206586). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 170.1, Dec = 56.8 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 11h 20m, 56d 47'), with a statistical uncertainty of 6.2 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 21.0 degrees.
