Gardner on on behalf of the GRS-Odyssey GRB team, report: A short-duration GRB 220519A has been detected by Konus-Wind, INTEGRAL (SPI-ACS), and Mars-Odyssey (HEND), so far, at about 42339 s UT (11:45:39). We have triangulated it to a preliminary, 3 sigma error box whose coordinates are: --------------------------------------------- RA(2000), deg Dec(2000), deg --------------------------------------------- Center: 357.784 (23h 51m 08s) -9.720 ( -9d 43' 11") Corners: 357.477 (23h 49m 54s) -9.525 ( -9d 31' 30") 357.634 (23h 50m 32s) -10.012 (-10d 00' 45") 358.089 (23h 52m 21s) -9.905 ( -9d 54' 18") 357.931 (23h 51m 43s) -9.420 ( -9d 25' 14") --------------------------------------------- The error box area is 843 sq. arcmin, and its maximum dimension is 43 arcmin (the minimum one is 28 arcmin). The Sun distance was 65 deg. This box may be improved. A triangulation map and HEALPix FITS file are posted at http://www.ioffe.ru/LEA/GRBs/GRB220519_T42339/IPN/ The time history and spectrum will be given in forthcoming GCN Circulars. //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 32073 SUBJECT: Konus-Wind detection of GRB 220519A DATE: 22/05/20 20:10:25 GMT FROM: Anna Ridnaia at Ioffe Institute A.Ridnaia, D. Frederiks, A.Lysenko, D. Svinkin, A. Tsvetkova, M. Ulanov, and T. Cline, on behalf of the Konus-Wind team, report: The short-duration GRB 220519A (IPN triangulation: Kozyrev at al., GCN Circ. 32072) triggered Konus-Wind at T0=42339.403 s UT (11:45:39.403). The burst light curve shows a single emission pulse, which starts at T0-0.1 s and has a total duration of ~0.7 s. The Konus-Wind light curve of this GRB is available at http://www.ioffe.ru/LEA/GRBs/GRB220519_T42339/ As observed by Konus-Wind, the burst had a fluence of 1.66(-0.02,+0.48)x10^-6 erg/cm2, and a 16-ms peak flux, measured from T0-0.048 s, of 6.05(-3.24,+3.66)x10^-6 erg/cm2/s (both in the 20 keV - 10 MeV energy range). Since the main fraction of the burst emission was detected before the trigger, the spectral analysis was performed using the KW 3-channel light curve data. Modelling the KW 3-channel time-integrated spectrum (measured from T0-0.096 s to T0+0.640 s) by a power law with exponential cutoff model: dN/dE ~ (E^alpha)*exp(-E*(2+alpha)/Ep), yields alpha = -0.13(-0.35,+0.44) and Ep = 507(-77,+117) keV. All the quoted errors are at the 68% confidence level. All the quoted values are preliminary.
