//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 27909 SUBJECT: GRB 200609A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 20/06/09 09:17:24 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 09:06:59 UT on 9 Jun 2020, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 200609A (trigger 613386424.308736 / 200609380). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 16.3, Dec = 67.4 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 01h 05m, 67d 24'), with a statistical uncertainty of 1.4 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 150.0 degrees. Zhang (IHEP), report on behalf of the Insight-HXMT team: At 2020-06-09T09:06:48.050 (T0), Insight-HXMT/HE detected GRB 200609A (trigger ID: HEB200609379) in a routine search of the data, which also triggered Fermi/GBM (GCN #27909). The Insight-HXMT/HE light curve mainly consists of multiple pulses with a duration (T90) of 82.18 s measured from T0-42.67 s. The 1-ms peak rate, measured from T0+10.58 s, is 1241 cnts/sec. The total counts from this burst is 17682 counts. URL_LC: http://twiki.ihep.ac.cn/pub/HXMT/GRBList/HEB200609379_lc.jpg All measurements above are made with the CsI detectors operating in the GRB mode with the energy range of about 200-3000 keV (record energy). Only gamma-rays with energy greater than about 200 keV can penetrate the spacecraft and leave signals in the CsI detectors installed inside of the telescope. Insight-HXMT is the first Chinese space X-ray telescope, which was funded jointly by the China National Space Administration (CNSA) and the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS).
