To ALL BACODINE SITES: 09 Apr 95 This is the first of a 9-notice series -- the oldest GRB is 17 days ago and the most recent is 6 days ago. There were a couple problems in getting the data for the IPN arc analysis for which we are currently working on to eliminate that delay problem. In the near future (a month or two) we hope to have these notices distributed within 1-3 days after the GRB. These are REAL NOTICES with REAL NUMBERS for REAL GRBs. I had some feedback that some people thought these were "samples" of a forthcoming BACODINE product. These plus the previous 8 are all real GRBs. I apologize if my wording in the initial set of notices confused people. The locations given in these IPN/BACODINE/HUNTSVILLE notices are real and can be used for follow-up observations and for restricting the sky region for post-observation analysis. I have added two more fields to these notices. Some people thought the Huntsville spacecraft Az & El coordinates would be useful. As always, people should feel free to comment on this and all aspects of the BACODINE system. ("We're here to help.") SPECIAL NOTES: There was no immediate BACODINE notice for this GRB There was only a MAXBC notice (at T+10 min). The BACO_RA/DEC listed above are from the MAXBC notice. This IPN annulus is tabulated below along the segment that intersects a combination of the BACODINE and Huntsville error circles. The position of maximum probability is marked.
