TITLE: GCN GRB OBSERVATION REPORT NUMBER: 4351 SUBJECT: GRB 051215: A short GRB in a cluster? DATE: 05/12/15 01:24:41 GMT FROM: Avishay Gal-Yam at Caltech E. O. Ofek and A. Gal-Yam (Caltech) report: The position of the apparently short burst GRB051215 (Swift trigger 172767) GCN) is located 0.9 arcmin from the galaxy cluster candidate NSC J105231+383822 (Gal et al. 2003 AJ 125, 2064). The estimated photometric redshift of the cluster is 0.09. An SDSS image of the cluster is available from: http://www.astro.caltech.edu/~eran/GRB/051214/SDSS_Cluster.jpg [GCN OPS NOTE(15dec05): Per author's request, the 051214 was changed to 051215.]
