TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 33553 SUBJECT: GRB 230402A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 23/04/02 07:42:54 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 07:32:35 UT on 2 Apr 2023, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 230402A (trigger 702113560.95607 / 230402314). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 93.1, Dec = -14.6 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 06h 12m, -14d 35'), with a statistical uncertainty of 1.0 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 18.0 degrees.
