TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 33344 SUBJECT: GRB 230218A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 23/02/18 15:56:53 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 15:46:27 UT on 18 Feb 2023, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 230218A (trigger 698427992.71955 / 230218657). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 39.6, Dec = 55.1 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 02h 38m, 55d 06'), with a statistical uncertainty of 16.0 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 10.0 degrees.
