TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 33215 SUBJECT: GRB 230124A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 23/01/24 15:28:54 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 15:18:46 UT on 24 Jan 2023, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 230124A (trigger 696266331.698466 / 230124638). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 67.2, Dec = -1.4 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 04h 28m, -1d 23'), with a statistical uncertainty of 3.3 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 32.0 degrees.
