TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 33137 SUBJECT: GRB 230102A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 23/01/02 00:32:32 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely SHORT GRB At 00:22:12 UT on 2 Jan 2023, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 230102A (trigger 694311737.966744 / 230102015). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 272.8, Dec = -35.1 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 18h 11m, -35d 06'), with a statistical uncertainty of 4.0 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 65.0 degrees.
