TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 33107 SUBJECT: GRB 221226B: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 22/12/26 22:51:47 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 22:41:20 UT on 26 Dec 2022, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 221226B (trigger 693787285.418586 / 221226945). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 16.3, Dec = -53.0 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 01h 05m, -53d 00'), with a statistical uncertainty of 9.8 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 46.0 degrees.
