TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 33021 SUBJECT: GRB 221205A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 22/12/05 00:42:21 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 00:31:56 UT on 5 Dec 2022, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 221205A (trigger 691893121.981046 / 221205022). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 220.1, Dec = 54.5 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 14h 40m, 54d 30'), with a statistical uncertainty of 7.7 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 49.0 degrees.
