TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 31636 SUBJECT: GRB 220222B: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 22/02/22 19:34:26 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 19:24:07 UT on 22 Feb 2022, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 220222B (trigger 667250652.136138 / 220222808). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 191.1, Dec = -33.5 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 12h 44m, -33d 30'), with a statistical uncertainty of 8.2 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 109.0 degrees.
