Sugizaki (NAOC) report on behalf of the MAXI team: The MAXI/GSC nova alert system triggered on two bright short bursts from the position consistent with that of an active Soft Gamma Repeater SGR 1935+2154 (GCN #27657, #27659, Atel #13675). Showing a double-peaked profile, the first one started at 20:01:45.99 of 2020-04-27 UT with a total duration of ~100 ms. The 5ms peak flux was about 75 Crab in the 2-20 keV band for each pulse. The second burst started at 21:56:02.63 UT with a single-peaked structure with a duration of 50 ms. This peak flux was about 40 Crab in 5 ms.
