TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 27247 SUBJECT: GRB 200228A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 20/02/28 07:08:54 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 06:58:33 UT on 28 Feb 2020, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 200228A (trigger 604565918.806272 / 200228291). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 328.0, Dec = -46.5 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 21h 52m, -46d 30'), with a statistical uncertainty of 1.5 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 33.0 degrees.
