We visually inspected DES Year 5 coadded image at the position of LIGO/Virgo S190814bv and identified DG19wxnjc/AT2019npv, even if the source is not clearly visible or very faint in some of the single epoch images. All the exposures used in the coadd were taken previously to the detection of S190814bv.


The archival detection suggests that AT2019npv is not related to S190814bv.
