We report here the position of the optical afterglow candidate of the short GRB 170728B 
(D’Avanzo et al. GCN Circ. 21372). 

The source position is:

RA (J2000): 15:51:55.47
Dec (J2000): +70:07:21.1
+/- 0.3”.
