Yamaoka (Nagoya U.) report on behalf of the MAXI team: We examined the MAXI/GSC all-sky X-ray images (2-20 keV) obtained in the orbit and the day after the LVC trigger G288732 at 2017-06-08 02:01:16.492 UTC (GCN 21221). At the trigger time of G288732, the high-voltage of MAXI/GSC was off. One day image covers 100% of the 90% regions in the bayestar skymap. No significant new source was found in these images. The upper limits for the X-ray flux are different depending on the part of the sky. For instance, typical 2-20 keV 1-sigma (3-sigma) upper limits obtained from the one-day images are 3(9) mCrab. MAXI/GSC also observed the position of the LAT counterpart (Omodei et al., GCN 21227). The first scan after the event was at 2017-06-08T17:39:41 (UT). No significant emission was observed at the position at the scan. The 1-sigma (3-sigma) upper limits in 2-20 keV are 8 (24) mCrab. If you require information of X-ray flux by MAXI/GSC at specific coordinates, please contact the submitter of this circular by email.
