Vaisanen, A.O. Jaunsen (ESO); report: Starting on 2003 April 2.1, we observed the optical counterpart (Peterson & Price, GCN 1985; Torii, GCN 1986) of GRB 030329 (Vanderspek et al., GCN 1997). The observations were performed with the ESO VLT-UT1 (Antu) telescope equipped with FORS1, in spectropolarimetric mode. Several acquisition images were taken, under photometric sky conditions; here we report the V-band magnitudes of the OT, based on Henden's calibration (GCN 2023). Seeing was ~1".
