TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 33420 SUBJECT: GRB 230308A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 23/03/08 13:42:49 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely SHORT GRB At 13:32:27 UT on 8 Mar 2023, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 230308A (trigger 699975152.401482 / 230308564). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 94.9, Dec = 68.5 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 06h 19m, 68d 30'), with a statistical uncertainty of 1.2 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 42.0 degrees.
