TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 33044 SUBJECT: GRB 221212A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 22/12/12 06:51:28 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 06:40:59 UT on 12 Dec 2022, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 221212A (trigger 692520064.300078 / 221212278). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 142.9, Dec = -19.2 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 09h 31m, -19d 11'), with a statistical uncertainty of 15.8 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 48.0 degrees.
