TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 32946 SUBJECT: GRB 221118A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 22/11/18 13:58:58 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 13:48:19 UT on 18 Nov 2022, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 221118A (trigger 690472104.534408 / 221118575). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 276.5, Dec = -45.3 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 18h 26m, -45d 17'), with a statistical uncertainty of 6.3 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 112.0 degrees.
