TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 31532 SUBJECT: GRB 220131A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 22/01/31 05:50:49 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 05:40:28 UT on 31 Jan 2022, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 220131A (trigger 665300433.513374 / 220131236). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 75.6, Dec = -24.9 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 05h 02m, -24d 53'), with a statistical uncertainty of 5.2 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 20.0 degrees.
