TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 28998 SUBJECT: GRB 201208A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 20/12/08 06:13:46 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 06:03:23 UT on 8 Dec 2020, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 201208A (trigger 629100208.248204 / 201208252). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 156.7, Dec = -29.3 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 10h 26m, -29d 18'), with a statistical uncertainty of 1.9 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 11.0 degrees.
