TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 23028 SUBJECT: GRB 180722B: CALET Gamma-Ray Burst Monitor detection DATE: 18/07/24 11:07:33 GMT FROM: Takanori Sakamoto at AGU T. Tamura (Kanagawa U), A. Yoshida, T. Sakamoto, V. Pal'shin, S. Sugita, Y. Kawakubo, A. Tezuka, S. Matsukawa, H. Onozawa, T. Ito, H. Morita, Y. Sone (AGU), K. Yamaoka (Nagoya U), S. Nakahira (RIKEN), I. Takahashi (IPMU), Y. Asaoka, S. Ozawa, S. Torii (Waseda U), Y. Shimizu (Kanagawa U), W. Ishizaki (ICRR), M. L. Cherry (LSU), S. Ricciarini (U of Florence), A. V. Penacchioni, P. S. Marrocchesi (U of Siena) and the CALET collaboration: The long GRB 180722B (Fermi-GBM trigger #553996158; Konus-Wind trigger time on 23:49:18.90 UT) triggered the CALET Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (CGBM) at 23:49:16.174 UTC on 22 July 2018. Because of a problem in one of the ground alert processing script, the GCN notice was not distributed automatically for this event. The burst light curve shows two broad pulses which start at T-4.0 sec and end at T+39.9 sec. The T90 and the T50 durations measured by the SGM data are 40.1 +- 3.2 sec and 30.0 +- 1.7 sec (40-1000 keV), respectively. The ground processed light curve is available at http://cgbm.calet.jp/cgbm_trigger/ground/1216338436/ The CALET data used in this analysis are provided by the Waseda CALET Operation Center located at the Waseda University.
