RE:  Blocking/filtering on the new LVC T-series Notices

You are receiving this announcement because (a) you are enabled for the LVC_PRELIMINARY notice type
and (b) LVC has been producing a new series of notices (the so-called T-series).
There ere ~6 of these T-series notices on Sept 10.
The "T" comes from the first letter in the TRIGGER_NUMBER field (eg T123456).

T-series is a specialized testing form of the LVC_PRELIMINARY;
they are not real -- they are not even noise from the from the LIGO h(t) data.
These are computer generated and used for internal testing within LVC.

Previously, there was no filtering for T-series (like there is for M- and G-series).
But now T-series filtering has been added.  The default is to not receive T-series.
So if you do not want to receive these, there is nothing to do.  If, however, you do
want to receive them, then simply reply to this email (that has your sitename appended below)
and I will activate T-series for your site configuration.  (I cannot say how many of these
T-series notices there will be -- they seem to be sporadic.)  Lastly, I point out
that there are already "testing" notices available throught the M-series ("M" for Mock
data challenge).
