Vitali report on behalf of the REM team: The robotic 60-cm REM telescope located at La Silla (Chile) observed automatically the field of the GRB 080207 (Racusin et al., GCN 7264). A preliminary analysis of the first set of JHK exposures does not reveal any optical afterglow candidate inside the XRT error box (Beardmore et al., GCN 7265) We derive the following 3sigma upper limits (calibrated against the 2MASS catalog): J > 16.7 (7.8 hours after the burst) H > 15.9 (7.7 hours after the burst) K > 13.9 (10.1 hours after the burst)
